When Fred Phelps and his crew of haters from the Westboro Church get to Spokane next week, I plan to meet them with my sign:
I LOVE MY GAY SON AND MY GAY SON-IN-LAW
I hope lots of people will stand with me and stand up for love and acceptance as hallmarks of our community. This group of hateful people from Kansas will be exercising their First Amendment right to intimidate and verbally attack our gay population and the people who love them. We can exercise our own First Amendment rights by standing up for our LGBT community on October 21st.
